| Inspired by Alan Sherman’s chart topping novelty songs of the ‘60’s, Edelman created Jewish-themed parody lyrics for rock and roll songs of the baby boomer generation. In the Guns N’ Charoses versions, “ Surfin’ USA” becomes “Daven Shacharit” and “Love Potion No. 9” turns into “My Manischevitz Wine.” Even Bruce Springsteen gets a send-up in “Born to Shop” and “Everybody’s Got a Jewish Mom.” |
